FROM A NUMBER TO A BITCOIN ADDRESS
The route
of your key.
A private key starts as a number. Change a public example value and follow the steps that turn it into an address.
Why not list every key?
There are almost 2²⁵⁶ valid private keys. Even an enormous list would show only a tiny fraction. The puzzle series makes the task more tangible by limiting the range for each puzzle. Deriving an address from a number is straightforward; reversing that process is practically infeasible for normal keys.

FROM UNDERSTANDING TO YOUR OWN DEVICE
Your next step:
BitBeard.
Here you learn individual calculation steps. BitBeard turns them into a standalone search with a display and on-device controls. Pro adds pool, cluster and optional FPGA support to suit your setup.
The size of the search range remains decisive. More computing power does not guarantee a match or a return.
